Our History
Opto-Systems, Inc. was incorporated in 1978 as a distributor for Zeiss laboratory and surgical microscopes in the metropolitan Philadelphia market place. Over the course of time, our business grew significantly with the surgical side of the business eventually growing larger than the laboratory side. In 1990, we decided to concentrate exclusively on the medical market. Today we have highly trained representatives based in Delaware, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
We take pride in the manufacturers we represent and in our employees who represent us. It is our goal to treat our customers in a manner that fosters long term relationships benefiting all parties involved.
Opto-Systems is located in Newtown, Pennsylvania, approximately thirty-five minutes northeast of Philadelphia along Interstate 95. We maintain a 7000 square foot office/warehouse building.
